Day 3- Norwegian Jade Live Blog April 11, 2017- Cozumel, Mexico

Today we are in Cozumel, Mexico! I woke up at around 6:30 to go watch us pull into port. It was so cool! There were so many other cruise ships in port with us. We were joined by the Independence of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Norwegian Dawn, and Carnival Fantasy. We finally docked at around 7:30. For breakfast, we headed up to Moderno. I ordered a steak with eggs, and also got food from the buffet. It all tasted really good. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the eggs were very good. After breakfast, we headed back to the room to get ready to get off the ship.

We got off the ship at around 10:30. We stopped for about 30 minutes to take a bunch of pictures of our ship, and all of the other ships in port. I took over 300 pictures of the ships!

After taking pictures, we went through security, and headed to the taxi. Our taxi driver was very nice and super helpful! He got us to Nachi Cocom at around 11:00

A couple of months before our cruise, we booked Nachi Cocom Beach Resort. Nachi Cocom is a beach where you pay $55 per person, and then you can get as much food and as many drinks as you want all day. We really liked it last year when we were on the Brilliance of the Seas, so we decided to go back. It was very relaxing, but this time around, the food wasn't very good. The mozzarella sticks were too chewy, the burger tasted too much like onions, and the guacamole and salsa weren't good. At around 2:00, it started to pour down rain. At this point, we decided that we were going back to the ship.

Once we got back to Puerta Maya, we did some shopping. We went to Ron Jon Surf Shop and bought some cool stuff. I bought a long sleeve shirt and a couple of stickers to give away to some of you guys! Stay tuned on Instagram for giveaway details.

We got back on the ship at 3:00, and went to our room to get ready for dinner. Half of our party went to Le Bistro (the French Restaurant), and me and one other person went to the buffet. I got some Shrimp Alfredo Pasta and a chocolate crepe. This was the first crepe I have ever had! It was really good. I will definitely be having more this cruise.

The show for tonight was called Showdown. It was a competition where 4 cast members competed with each other to win a singing competition. The way that a person won was whoever got the loudest round of applause. It was OK, but I didn't love it.

After the show, we went back to our room to go to bed.

Today was a very fun and relaxing day. I highly recommend Nachi Cocom Beach if you are looking for a relaxing day.
