Day 6- Norwegian Jade Live Blog April 14, 2017- Harvest Caye, Belize

Today we are in Harvest Caye, Belize! We arrived at around 6:30, and we were cleared for disembarkation at 7:00. I got up at around 6:00 to watch us pull in. We got off the ship at 8:30, and headed to the cabana that we booked for the day. On the island, they have long blue golf carts to take you from place to place. So we hopped on one of those.

When we first got to our cabana, our personal butler gave us a little tour. The cabana includes a stereo system, a mini fridge with water, four lounge chairs on the deck, four lounge chairs on the beach, a bathroom, and air conditioning. Both the view and the cabana were absolutely beautiful. A video tour will be coming later.

A couple of strawberry daiquiris later, it was time to head back to the ship. We were only in port from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Everyone had to be back on board at 12:30, and that's when we boarded.

For lunch, we decided to stay in the Haven and order from Cagney's. I got a cheeseburger and Fettuccine Alfredo with Porcini Mushrooms. They were both very good. After lunch, we just relaxed in the Haven for a while.

While we were on the island, the guest who was staying in the Garden Villa came up to us and said that she had read my blog! She was so kind to offer to let me come in to their Villa and let me take pictures for Cruise Everyday. So that's what I did after lunch! I have all of those pictures saved, and I will be writing about the Garden Villa in a separate post. Thank you so much again for letting us tour your room! I really appreciate it!

For dinner, we went to the Garden Cafe. I had a hot dog, but it didn't taste very good. I also had a chocolate crepe, which was possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten. Dessert included a vanilla ice cream cone.

The show for tonight was called Elements. It was an aerialist/illusionist show. It was very cool and really interesting. The performers were very focused and put on a good show.

After the show, we headed back to the room to go to bed.

Random Thoughts:

  • Tomorrow is our last day
  • The reason why the next couple blogs are coming out late is because I wanted to make the most of our last day...also because getting back to reality has been kinda hard.
